Knolltop Farm Wife (Melissa Hart)

Welcome to my blog! I'm a wife, mother of four and a self-employed freelance writer. In addition to writing, I am involved in producing several dairy magazines and am the editor of Dairy Agenda Today where I have a blog there as well! This is a place where I can get what's in my head, down on paper (the internet). I hope you find encouragement and maybe a giggle or two!

Good Morning from a cool, clear and sun not peeking through Knolltop!

It promises to be a busy day here, I've got to get an estimate on my van, then head north again to get the hay and hope the truck doesn't give me anymore problems. I guess I should look at those problems as learning experiences....I actually feel more confident now knowing what to do if it over heats!

Then back home to cook dinner, chores and Sarah has a volleyball game tonight.

Okay, now we have a new feature on this blog....I just realized it's available...it's my follower option. I'm not sure how it works, but I can list people who follow this blog on the left hand side. I only found it because Erin, a fellow blogger and mom in Montana registered as a follower. So I added that option to the blog. I think if you click on "follow" you can register as a follower and put your picture in. I still haven't figured out how to get Erin's picture there....but I'm working on it. So if you want other people to see you're smiling face on my blog...then register!

Okay, it's time for breakfast and then I'll start my sprint through the day!

Another PryoVu update: It really did snow, recorded 28 inches in 2 1/2 days at my house. Snow bound for three days. Two different neighbors came, one on Sunday and another on Monday to help feed the cows. Nephew #3 got stuck in the county road on Monday night. Early Tues his dad and I got him out of the road so that the neighbor's rodeo trucks, "Sankey Rodeo Company" could get out after the roads were plowed. Big NILE rodeo in Billings, MT on Wed-Sat this week. Lots folks with trouble getting to cattle to feed, etc. Town of Red Lodge had 40+inchs and was descibed as paralyzed. Thanks for the Blog idea, but must wait 'til I have retired and can devote some good time to it. All is back to somewhat reasonableness now at the PryorVu and the FourDot Dairy.
